Learn to Fence! is our signature beginner camp. Designed to introduce new, and returning campers, to the sport of Olympic Fencing through a fast paced, fun, and challenging camp experience. We have been voted Durham's Magazine "Best of Durham" for our summer programs.
Our skilled camp staff consists of professional and accredited fencing coaches, NCAA fencing collegiate athletes, and members of our Forge Teams Teen Leadership Program to ensure that we achieve a 1:8 camper to staff ratio. Forge Fencing is located in a world class training facility in Durham, at 610 North Duke Street.
Camp drop-off is daily between 8:45am and 9:00am. Camp pickup is between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, to ensure that we are offering flexibility and support for the families we do not charge an additional fee for this aftercare pickup window. We provide all the necessary fencing equipment. Campers need to bring their own packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. This is an active sports camp, so make sure campers are dressed in comfortable athletic clothing and are wearing good athletic shoes.
This camp is geared for fencers age 7 through 14 years old. Not sure if your camper is ready for fencing? Feel free to checkout our 10 Day Trial Academy membership and visit a few classes. Information at www.forgefencing.com
