Is fencing camp right for my child?
Fencing at our club takes place in a controlled, safe, and fast-paced environment where we work to build confidence, focus, coordination, and problem-solving skills through participation. Campers will be exposed to a wide range of activities that will help them learn how to win graciously, handle challenges, and grow through effort that they can use to support themselves as a lifetime athlete in any sport.
If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, we recommend trying a class through our 10-Day Youth Academy Trial or come by our club to visit and watch.
Who Will Be Teaching?
Camp is led by Head Coach Jeffrey Kallio, an accredited fencing coach and Eagle Scout who has coached athletes of all ages, including para-fencers and current and former NCAA competitors. Additional staff includes additional coaches, Forge Team teen leaders, and pre-announced guest coaches, providing a positive and supportive camp experience. All of our lead coaches have received SafeSport education and a background screening.
