Forge 3 Weapon Pre-Season Training Camp

Get the season started right with the Forge 3 Weapon Pre-Season Training Camp!

This is our signature team building event of the summer in which we prepare for the upcoming season, work on goal setting, tournament planning, and come together as a team. Forge National Travel Team members are expected to attend. Athletes Youth 12 and older competing regionally through nationally in foil, epee, and saber are invited to attend.

Activities will include indoor and outdoor training, physical fitness assessment and training, tactical lectures for weapon specific situations, video review, sport psychology seminars, and working together as a team to launch into the season. In addition, we will be supporting on-site coach development, build up the attendee's refereeing skills and knowledge, and help lay the foundation for detailed training plans for each athlete.

Forge is known for running high quality, challenging, and FUN training camps. Join the Forge Team, talented coaching staff, and visitors from across the US and beyond for an outstanding training experience that will boost your skillset, build confidence, and help you focus your goals and training on your fencing journey.

General camp schedule is 9am to 5pm daily, with evening open bouting sessions planned, and additional fun activities. Individual lessons will be offered and available daily. Cost is $525 per athlete. Per day pro-rates are available for our adult/veteran athletes and those traveling from out of town.

Attendees from other clubs are welcome! Downtown Durham is a fun and fantastic place to visit. Some homestays are available, and there are many AirBnB's within a short walking distance to the club. Reach out if you need help coordinating your visit!
